General Information
The course will officially open for practice on Monday, August 9. Rowers may practice before that time at their own risk, and must stay well clear of the course installation crew.
Practice Schedule:
- Monday, August 9, 10 am - 7 pm
- Tuesday, August 10, 8 am - 8 pm
- Wednesday, August 11, from the end of racing until 8:00 pm
- Thursday, August 12, from the end of racing until 8:00 pm
- Friday, August 13, from the end of racing until 8:00 p.m.
- No practicing will be allowed before or during racing.
Parking and Shuttle Information:
Parking is very limited at the venue. Shuttle service will be provided to all of the listed hotels, they will have that information in the lobbies when you check in. The only vehicles allowed on site will be tow vehicles, vans (7 passenger & larger), and cars with boats on top. We appreciate your understanding and not pushing the limits of our capacity
Schedule Information
Only a few races have been cancelled due to a lack of entries. If the cancellations affect you, please contact me immediately. Along with this information, there is a list of entries also available. If you have not received this document, please email me at jody@usrowing.org.
Rowers are allowed to race in only 5 events at the Masters Nationals. Coxswains my participate in an unlimited amount of races.
Registration
As a reminder, you must have a photo on your credential. If you have not mailed your photo in to USRowing, please bring a small passport size photo to the venue. For those without a photo, A $10 fee will be assessed. Waivers and memberships may also be brought to the registration table.
Weigh-ins
Lightweight Men shall weigh no more than 160 lbs. With the crew average being 155 lbs. Lightweight women shall weigh no more than 130 lbs. Lightweight weigh-in will occur once a day, no more than two hours and no less than one hour before the competitor's first lightweight race.
Coxswains for men's and mixed crews shall weigh at least 120 lbs. Coxswains for women's crews shall weigh at least 110 lbs. Coxswains will be weighed in once during the event, on the first day in which they race, no later than one hour prior to that race.
